Love is to to live a life filled with spirtual light, with conscious awareness of the Divine Spirit working through us. We can never know what we are, because we aren't. Only abstract power IS.
Ralph Waldo Emerson spoke this so well when he said:
"From within or from behind, a light shines through us upon things, and makes us aware that we are nothing, but the light is all."
